The consultancy remuneration may be reviewed after one year based on performance and the applicable engagement conditions. The advertisement does not provide regular employee benefits such as Dearness Allowance, accommodation or medical reimbursement. Official travel allowances may be permitted under the prescribed conditions.

AAI will select eligible candidates through document verification and interview. According to the official notification, candidates must secure a minimum of 50 marks in the interview for selection based on merit ranking.

The initial consultant engagement will be for one year. The contract may be extended for another year at a time, subject to the applicable conditions, with a maximum cumulative engagement period of five years.

The assignment is full-time, and selected consultants cannot undertake another assignment during their consultancy period. They will be engaged as independent consultants rather than regular AAI employees.
