PwBD and ex-servicemen reservations are horizontal and are included within the total advertised vacancies. These figures must not be added again to the overall vacancy count. CWC has identified 11 ex-servicemen reserved positions each for Junior Executive (General) and Junior Executive (Technical).

Qualification Cut-off: Candidates must possess the required marksheets and certificates as of 15 November 2026. Qualifications must be from recognized institutions and must match the subjects and specializations specified in the notification.

Finance Experience Condition: For Assistant Manager (Finance), the articleship period will not count toward the required three years of experience. Only regular employment experience is considered under the applicable route.

The age limit is calculated as of 15 November 2026.

The maximum age after applicable cumulative relaxations must not exceed 55 years as of 15 November 2026. Relevant supporting certificates are mandatory for candidates claiming relaxations.

Selected candidates will receive the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale prescribed for their posts.

The selection stages differ between Assistant Manager and Junior Executive posts.

Candidates will be shortlisted for subsequent stages based on examination performance, applicable qualifying standards and the rules prescribed in the notification.

Negative Marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned to each incorrectly answered objective question will be deducted. No penalty applies to unanswered questions.

Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying marks for the Professional/Subject Knowledge section, wherever applicable, and the English descriptive test are 40% for unreserved candidates and 35% for OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates.

The examination includes reasoning, computer aptitude, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, general awareness, English language and an English descriptive test. The Technical, Finance and Engineering posts additionally require professional subject knowledge.
